Tim chose to pursue Landscape Architecture as a means to enrich lives by reconnecting people to the natural world. He is strongly interested in environmental issues and edible landscapes. Tim has a bachelor’s of science from Illinois State University in Art Education and a master’s of art in painting from Governor’s State University. Tim’s love of art led him to teach high school art for eight years in the southwest suburbs of Chicago, then he transitioned into design and received his certificate in Landscape Architecture from U.C. Berkeley Extension. As a resident of Napa, Tim likes exploring the local wineries and, when his work and family schedule allows, he also enjoys painting and drawing as well as the occasional mountain biking adventure.
