While growing up in Brazil, Mirelle learned how design can impact and change people’s lives. This compelled her to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Urban Design from Pontifical Catholic University of Goiás. In 2007, she moved to San Francisco, and used her relocation as an opportunity to study Landscape Architecture at U.C. Berkeley Extension. After graduating, she worked in commercial and community development as well as residential design. Inspired by her love for nature, Mirelle continues to expand her knowledge by analyzing and constructing social and ecological schemes in landscapes. In her free time, she likes hiking in the wild, photographing native plants, or just enjoying the sunset with her husband.
