Jane Sedonaen, MS, ASLA
Founding Principal
Jane is a founding Principal of Integrated Design Studio. She has over 25 years of experience in urban planning, community planning, recreation and landscape architecture. Her career has spanned roles in planning, design, outdoor leadership, programming, and group facilitation. She served for several years as faculty at San Francisco State University in the Department of Recreation, the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, and UC Berkeley Extension. As a Landscape Architect, Jane manages projects ranging from schools, community groups, sustainable gardens, wineries, hotels, and resorts. She is inspired by the benefit of the connection between people and the natural environment, such as relaxation, socialization, creativity, learning, and improved health. Her deep understanding of social interactions and human behavior she guide the IDS team to create useful and meaningful places.
In her spare time, Jane enjoys water sports, biking, and spending time with her small dog. She is also a founding partner of the The Mindfulness Collaborative and often spends her days off leading nature retreats and mindfulness classes.
Jane holds a B.S. in Urban Studies from Brown University and Masters in Recreation at San Francisco State University. Jane is a licensed Landscape Architect in the State of California (#CA5057).
