Alejandra Suarez

Administrator & Landscape Designer

At IDS, Alejandra wears two hats. She is the administrative assistant to the principals, coordinating all inbound project leads, proposals, project billing, and managing our busy design center office. She has also started her growth as a landscape designer, provide project support for residential, commercial, and school projects., Alejandra worked as an administrative assistant at a construction company. In the Spring of 2021, she joined the IDS team.

 

Alejandra moved to Marin County from Guatemala at a young age. After graduating from high school, she began her colleges studies at College of Marin (COM). While studying at COM, she learned how design can have an impact in people and the environment. This drove her to pursue a degree in Landscape Architecture at UC Davis, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in 2020. Alejandra believes Landscape Architecture has the capability to bring sustainability, ecology, and design together. She is bi-lingual (English and Spanish).  In her spare time, Alejandra likes hiking and discovering new trails of Marin, and just watching a good soccer game.
